MDI and TDI are the most important Isocyanate which is a major base product for the plastics production.

For valves the MDI/TDI production process is very challenging. The mediums are very corrosive and if it cools down it crystalizes and hardens to a point where operating a valve can become very difficult and achieving proper shut off is a common problem.
